This specification covers petroleum base hydraulic fluids containing anticorrosion and antioxidation additives for use in hydraulic systems and in other applications where a high grade lubricating oil having anticorrosion and antioxidation properties is required. This fluid should not be used in systems where a fire-resistant fluid is required.

intended Use:

The hydraulic fluid covered by this specification is intended for use in shipboard hydraulic systems not requiring the use of a fire-resistant hydraulic fluid.
