MODUK - CS 3037

Solution, Rubber Protective

active, Most Current
Organization: MODUK
Publication Date: 26 September 1958
Status: active
Page Count: 3
scope:

This specification relates to a material for application to rubber stored in a stressed condition, notably tyres on stored vehicles, to afford protection against degradation by ozone. It will not necessarily afford similar protection to tyres in use, i.e. undergoing flexure, and it is unsuitable for use on coloured rubbers as serious staining would be caused. Staining may also be cause on paintwork if the material is allowed to come into contact with it.
