This specification covers the general requirements for mixer stages, radio frequency for use in military systems (see 6.1).
The military part number shall consist of the letter "M" followed by the basic number of the specification sheet, an assigned dash number (see 3.1), and the letter N or S; where N indicates a nonscreened item and S indicates a screened item (see 3.6, 3.7, and table III).
