This specification covers the minimum requirements for the procurement of the TCU-4/E Cartridge Actuated Cutter. Cutters may be procured in either of two configurations.

The TCU-4/E when purchased in kit form consists of an unassembled TCU-4/E and contains all hardware necessary for installing the TCU-4/E onto the M58/68 Linear Demolition Charge System (LDCS).

The TCU-4/E when purchased alone comes as an assembled cutter and is ready for testing or installation onto an existing M58/68 LDCS equipped with TCU-4/E mounting hardware.

intended Use:

The TCU-4/E Cartridge Actuated Cutter is intended for use on the M58/68 Linear Demolition Charge System as a backup means of separating the line charge from the deploying vehicle.
