This Defence Standard DEF STAN 02-718 (NES 718) specifies the general requirements for the collection, treatment and disposal of sewage, grey water, food slurry, wash water and loose water from decks.
This Standard does not include the clearance of water from drain tanks or oily bilge water from bilges that are specified in DEF STAN 08-161 (NES 717).
