Use/relationship:

a. To provide Engineering Documentation Product Drawings to support prototype and limited production of equipments and systems. The drawings will be used to support the maintenance, repair, spare procurement, training, testing, and configuration baseline of the equipment and system acquired.

b. This Data Item Description (DID) contains the format and content preparation instructions of the Engineering Documentation Product Drawings resulting from the work task described in the contract SOW, the ASME Standard, Y14.100-2004, "Engineering Drawing Practices" (entire document) and 3.7.a. of DS-61, "NSA Data Standard for the Preparation of Engineering Documentation" Appendix B, Revision F.
