Contamination control. For our purposes, contamination control will be defined as the planninq, orsanization, and imolementation of all activities required to determine, achieve; and majntain a required cleanliness level in , on, or around the contaminee. The sources and physical attributes of contaminants most comonly encountered and the most recent analytical techniques and means of control
Precision cleaning. As pertains to this handbook, precision cleaning is defined as final or fine cleaning accomplished in a controlled environment to remove minute quantities of contaminants to better than visual standards.
Purpose. The purpose of this program is to delineate requirements to that extent necessary to establish general data for operational and perf ormance characteristics essential to developing an adequate document support structure suitable for use in contamination control technology.
