This notice provides guidance to principal operations inspectors (POI) who have authorized their respective air operator(s) or fractional ownership programs to enter into an arrangement with a Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 142 training center to conduct portions of the operator's training, checking, and/or testing. It also clarifies existing terminology, provides guidance on the qualification requirements for training center instructors and evaluators who may be used in an operator's or fractional ownership program manager's training program, and discusses the coordination between POIs and Training Center Program Managers (TCPM).
