The present document is based on draft ITU-T Recommendation Q.1228 [26]. It provides major modifications and further requirements to this base document. This first part of the present document defines the Intelligent Network Application Protocol (INAP) required for support of Capability Set 2 (CS2). It supports interactions between the following five Functional Entities (FEs), as defined in the Intelligent Network (IN) functional model:
