This notice applies to all NAVAIR sites, Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters (NAVAIRHQ), Business Units (BUs), and the Naval Aviation Program Executive Officers (PEOs); Program Executive Officer for Joint Strike Fighter (PEO(JSF)), Program Executive Officer for Tactical Aircraft (PEO(T)), Program Executive Officer for Air Anti-Submarine Warfare, Assault and Special Mission (PEO(A)), and the Program Executive Officer for Strike Weapons and Unmanned Aviation (PEO(W)).
Purpose. To issue the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Smart Sourcing policy and process that supports NAVAIR goals in accordance with reference (a).
