Foreword
This draft amendment to ETS 300 347-2 (1994) has been produced by the Signalling Protocols and Switching (SPS) Technical Committee of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), and is now submitted for the Public Enquiry phase of the ETSI standards approval procedure.
This amendment has been created as a consequence of the amendments to ETS 300 324-1 (1994) and ETS 300 347-1 (1994).
This amendment contains changes of clauses and subclauses of ETS 300 347-2 (1994) as detailed below.
Editorial
Clause 2: Update the normative references to ETS 300 324-1 and ETS 300 347-1, respectively, to include their amendments.
Technical
The amended procedure for port state alignment after interface start up requires the introduction of new PICS items in subclauses 6.5.2.3.5, 6.5.3.2.4, 6.6.2.3.4 and 6.6.3.2.4.
