scope:
This specification defines the minimum essential requirements for diesel mechanical, diesel hydraulic and diesel electric truck mounted cranes with a free load capacity of from 6 tons to 7 tons inclusive at 10 ft radius, and a blocked load capacity at 10 ft radius of up to and including 15 tons.
The specification is in four sections as follows:
SECTION 1 - GENERAL
This section deals with details common to the crane superstructure and the chassis as a whole.
SECTION 2 - CRANE
This section deals with the crane superstructure only.
SECTION 3 - CHASSIS
This section deals with the chassis only.
SECTION 4 - INSPECTION
This section deals with general inspection requirements and sets out the acceptance tests.
