1.1 Scope.

The object of this test specification is to define the requirements on elastomeric components used for vibration insulation in motor vehicles. In addition to the requirements fo rmarking symbols, the tests on the elastomeric material as well as the physical tests on the complete component are specified. 1.1 Anwendungsbereich. Der Zweck dieser PrOfvorschrift ist es, neben der Festlegung der Kennzeichnung des Bauteils, auch die Anforderungen an den Elastomerwerkstoff sowie die physikalischen Prüfungen am gesamten Bauteil festzulegen, die Elastomer-Fertigteile zur Schwingisolation in Motorfahrzeugen erfüllen zu müssen.
