This INTERIM Defence standard specifies requirements for one grade of high flash point kerosene type aviation turbine fuel, intended primarily for use in military aircraft gas turbine engines, containing fuel systems icing inhibitor (FSII) as a mandatory additives. Fuel provided to this specification shall possess satisfactory performance and properties when used in appropriate aircraft or engines operated by the Crown.
