scope:

This specification covers a lightweight disposable (low cost) cover to protect exposed supplies and equipment from nuclear/chemical/biological attack and serves to ease the burden of decontamination throughout the Army.

The cover shall be of the following types and sizes as specified (see 6.2):

Type I - Camouflage Green 483 Type II - Desert Tan 459 Type III - Reversible Camouflage Green 483/White Size 1 - 12 feet wide by 309 feet long Size 2 - 20 feet wide by 149 feet long

The cover is intended for use as a barrier to protect exposed supplies and equipment from chemical and biological attack and serve to ease the burden of decontamination throughout the army.
