Purpose. To promulgate responsibilities and procedures for credentials review and cliical privileging of flight surgeons under the cognizance of the Commander, Naval Air Systems Command (COMNAVAIRSYSCOM) who deliver medical care at the Naval Medical Clinic Patuxent River (NMCPR), Maryland.

Applicability. This instruction applies to all flight surgeons assigned to NAVAIR, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIRWARCENACDIV), Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV) and other operational units under the cognizance of NAVAIR. Collectively these flight surgeon billets are designated "Claimacy 19" (enclosure (1)) by the Commander, Navy Personnel Command.
