These windows are made from solid steel sections which have been hot-rolled from new billet steel into carefully designed profiles or shapes to form frame assemblies and ventilator assemblies. There are four types of hot-rolled steel windows, defined and categorized by the weight per lineal foot of the combined frame and vent members. The categories are: Light Intermediate - 2.0; Standard Intermediate - 3.0; Heavy Intermediate - 3.5; Heavy Custom - 4.2.
