This instruction applies to all NAVAIR sites, Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters (NAVAIRHQ), their Business Units (BUs), and the Aviation Program Executive Officers (PEOs). This instruction also covers all tenant organizations to which NAVAIR provides computer support Any proposed changes, modifications or deviations to this instruction requires Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters (NAVAIRHQ), Chief Information Officer (CIO), (AIR - 7.0A), review and concurrence NAVAIR sites may adopt amplifying guidance as long as that guidance does not deviate from this instruction

Purpose. To provide uniform guidance for the proper use of information systems and equipment throughout the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) following reference (a) and enclosure (1).
