Loudspeaker Spiders, Test for Measuring Stiffness

inactive, Most Current
Organization: CTA
Publication Date: 1 December 1976
Status: inactive
Page Count: 10
scope:

This teat method defines the equipment and techniques for measuring stiffness, as indicated hy the deflection distance when the spider is loaded at its center by a specified mass. Stiffness can then be calculated in rmvkm~ per millimeter (N/mm), or merely stated in deflection versus mass, as is customary in the loudspeaker induptry.

This Standard is issued to improve correlation of measurements in the industry by a standard test method. There is no other industry standard test method.
