This specification covers the requirements for an unlighted mechanical aircraft clock having a 1-⅞-inch dial and a 1-hour elapsed time capability, designated as Clock, Aircraft, Mechanical, Type A-13A.
The clock shall be one of the two following types:
a. Type A-13A-1, having fluorescent luminescent hand and dial markings.
b. Type A-13A-2, having lusterless white hand and dial markings.
intended Use:
The clocks covered by this specification are intended for use as the primary timepiece and to provide an elapsed time capability in aircraft requiring an unlighted clock.
