NOTE:
This guide specification covers requirements for modified bitumen sheet roofing, both APP modified for torching, SBS modified for hot mopping and SBS modified for cold application, with a minimum slope of one in 48 1/4 in./ft. This guide specification does not include the structural roof deck, insulation, or sheet metal fascias, gravel stops, and flashings. Acids, hydrocarbons, oil, and cooking greases attack modified sheet roofing. When these contaminants may be a problem on a roof, contact modified bitumen sheet manufacturers for specific recommendations.
