This specification covers the requirements for one type transportable special communications central, for use under world-wide conditions. The communications central shall provide two on-line cryptographic channels for duplex, encrypted teletype operations. The teletype and cryptographic equipment shall be installed in a radio frequency (rf) shielded shelter to provide the required security from compromise of unencrypted information.
