This instruction applies to all NAVAIR business units, field activities, and Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters (NAVAIRHQ).
To provide policy and procedures for the purchase and award of unit coins using appropriated funds. This instruction does not apply to coins procured by private organizations or purchased with nonappropriated funds, official representation funds, or personal funds.
