Brings together in a single source all known pertinent, published references on explosive properties of gaseous mixtures containing hydrogen and chlorine. The reaction characteristics of hydrogen admixed with chlorine, oxygen and inert gases information is based on the literature review of reaction characteristics of hydrogen with chlorine and with mixtures of chlorine and oxygen, and represents an attempt to graphically show ignition and detonation zones for the systems hydrogen-chlorine-oxygen and hydrogenchlorine- air.
