AIM

The aim of this agreement is to standardize electrostatic safety procedures for handling all liquid fuel operations both on- and off-base as well as refuelling/defuelling of aircraft. This STANAG does not apply to the replenishment of the fuel tanks of ground vehicles/equipment.
