Organization: NPFC
Publication Date: 14 May 1986
Status: active
Page Count: 12
scope:

This specification covers the process for marking of identification and designations on electrical wires and cables. Alternate methods involving the use of hot-stamped or ink-stamped identification tapes and sleeves are used in special applications. The hot-stamped markings are inked to provide visual contrast and are impressed for permanency.
