This Defence Standard describes briefly the general maintenance data and defect reporting systems used by the three Services for the majority of their technical equipments. It does not include a description of procedures peculiar to special areas such as nuclear power plants, certain explosives stores etc. However, it does include references to documents which describe procedures for such equipments.
