AIM

The aim of this agreement is to standardize the maximum sizes for maps, aeronautical charts and other geographic products (excluding nautical charts) produced by NATO nations for their armed forces, such that:

a. Interoperability is assured between those nations which are required to print geographic products.

b. Map storage and field distribution facilities of one NATO nation can be used for the products of another.

c. Information can be overprinted on existing stock.
