scope:
PURPOSE. The purpose of this document is to define the Microgravity Science Glovebox (MSG) investigations integration process. The MSG Level III Configuration Control Board (CCB) controls this document per MSFC-PLAN-2781. The MSG project has simplified the Investigations integration requirements to minimize the International Space Station (ISS) integration requirements. This document contains the development and integration template meeting ISS and MSG unique integration requirements. The following sections will describe the applicable documents, the integration and operations process (including the review process and data deliverables), the safety process, hardware integration, operations, verification and flight certification, and finally the Configuration Management process. In addition, responsibilities have been included to show interactions and relationships between the MSG Investigation Integration Team (IIT) and the Investigation Developer Team (IDT). The IIT has provided some flexibility in meeting the overall ISS payload template as defined by Appendix A. The IIT will maintain a unique schedule for each increment, defining the specific deliverable milestones.
