PURPOSE. This order establishes security briefing requirements for FAA and contractor employees prior to travel to foreign countries on official and unofficial business, and requirements for reporting certain contacts with foreign nationals. It implements provisions of Order DOT 1640.4D, Classified Information Management, and Presidential Decision Directive (PDD) 12, Security Awareness and Reporting of Foreign Contacts.
