1. SCOPE
This specification defines the performance requirements for steel fasteners, phosphated and coated with a bonded fluorocarbon (PTFE) resin. The one component resin bonded PTFE is cured between 149 to 204 degrees C. The PTFE resin can be color keyed for identification purposes, and offers lower coefficient of friction for bolt drive torque.
