This specification covers the detail requirements for Schottky barrier diodes intended for use in applications requiring switching speeds of less than 100 pico seconds. Four levels of product assurance are provided for each encapsulated device type as specified in MIL-S-19500. Two level of product assurance are provided for each unencapsulated device type.
