This specification establishes the performance, design, testing, manufacturing, and acceptance requirements for a forced air inlet personnel heater assembly, referred to herein as "heater" (see 6.1).

Heaters will be dual or single air of the following types (see 6.4.1 and 6.4.2):

Type I - Extended operating range. Type II - Standard operating range.
