scope:
This directive is applicable to all military personnel, officer and enlisted, assigned to SPAWAR and Program Executive Offices. Selected Reserve Personnel/Active Duty for Special Work nominees cannot fill active duty IA requests and are exempt from this directive.
Purpose.
To establish procedural support and guidance for military members assigned to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) to meet combatant command Individual Augmentation (IA) requirements per policy outlined in reference (a).
