This specification covers portable, surveying instrument, distance measuring, electronic microwave, herein called SEDME. SEDME units shall be of solid-state construction and are complete with accessories for unsupported operation.
The military specification part numbers for the SEDME-MW shall be as follows:
intended Use:
A minimum of two SEDME units one operating in the measuring mode and the other operating in the answering mode, are intended for the precise measurement of survey lines.
