This specification is approved for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

The requirements for acquiring the product described herein shall consist of this specification sheet and the issue of MIL-DTL-11484 listed in that issue of the Department of Defense Index of Specifications and Standards (DoDISS) specified in the solicitation.

MATERIAL: Red Brass FINISH: Gold Plated, Mirror-like Polished and shall match TIOH Metal Finish Chip Number 6. DIMENSIONS: DIAMETER (Point to Point): ⅝ inch (1.59 cm) (REF) THICKNESS (Rope Edge): 0.050 inch ± 0.010 inch (0.127 cm ± 0.025 cm)

NOTES:

1. The term (REF) refers to the measurements taken from the Government furnished hub or die.

2. The attaching device shall be prong with pick and flat ball clutch type. The prong shall be centered on the reverse side and fused or soldered to the label button.

3. The full size identification badge shall conform to MIL-B-41809/46.
