Reciprocal collaboration for Quality Assurance (QA) has been established between Australia and the United Kingdom by means of a Memorandum of Arrangements dated 25 November 1977 and signed by the Australian Defence Scientific and Technical Representative (DSTR) on behalf of the Australian Department of Defence (DOD) and the Director General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD).
The Memorandum of Arrangements for Government Quality Assurance (GQA) and technical acceptance of materiel ordered for defence purposes in each country by the other is copied as Part 2 of this memorandum.
All requests for GQA, accompanied by 2 copies of the order, drawings, specifications and the like are to be sent by the delegator to the delegatee focal point shown in paragraph 6.3 of the Arrangements.
The focal point for UK orders placed with Australian suppliers is,

DGQA will act as the focal point for Australian orders placed in the UK and will allocate the Request for QA to the appropriate Quality Assurance Directorate (QAD).
All requests for QA will be made on the from prescribed at Annex A of the Arrangements. For UK orders form QA 154 (with reference to Stanag 4107 deleted) which corresponds to Annex A, will be used for requests and subsequent acceptance or non-acceptance by the delegatee.
