scope:

The goal of the COMNAVRESFOR civilian awards program is to recognize outstanding individual performance and significant contributions to the mission of the command. The importance of submitting nominations on outstanding individuals cannot be overemphasized. Besides nominating individuals for the COY award, monitoring and rewarding outstanding civilian contributions throughout the year is also important. The success of this program depends upon the personal attention and support of all supervisors and managers at every level within COMNAVRESFOR.

Purpose. To establish a COMNAVRESFOR Staff COY awards program and provide guidelines to give special recognition of significant contributions by junior (GS-10 and below) and senior (GS-11 and GS-12) civilian employees on COMNAVRESFOR staff.
