The steel conference-type desk covered by this specification is designed for use in a private or semi-private office, and because of the overhanging back and sides, will eliminate the need for a conference table. Metal general office accessory furniture items and the bookcase and credenza covered by Federal Specification AA-O-240, Office Furniture, Steel, Unitized, are recommended for use with this style of desk.
