scope:
This standard specifies safety requirements for floating landing stages and their equipment. It is not applicable to - bank structures such as quay walls, sheeting walls, piles and dolphins; - floating landing stages for recreational craft; - more severe requirements for floating landing stages used for the transhipment of dangerous goods; - any landing stages required between vessel and floating landing stage.
