This part of the I-ETS specifies technical characteristics for PCM A-Law 3,1 kHz loudspeaking and hands-free telephony terminals to be connected to the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) access or coincident S/T reference point. Such terminals are intended to be used by a single person. This I-ETS does not apply to terminals implemented with Acoustic Echo Controller (AEC) processing.
