This specification covers containers for bromotrifluoromethane, CF₃Br, for use in aircraft fire extinguishing systems of the high rate discharge type.

The containers shall be of the types listed in Table I, as specified (see 6.2): TABLE I

The containers covered by this specification are intended for use in aircraft fire extinguishing systems described in MIL-E-22285.
