This handbook contains distress definitions and measuring methods for concrete surfaced airfields. This information is used to determine the Pavement Condition Index (PCI). This handbook is based on the references in paragraph 1.7. with modifications for alkali-silica reaction and the addition of deduct values for each distress. AF Records Disposition. Ensure that all records created by this handbook are maintained and disposed of IAW AFMAN 37-139, "Records Disposition Schedule."
