scope:
This Standard specifies the physical properties and types of buried polyethylene pipe (hereafter referred to as "pipes") to be used for the supply of town gas and liquefied petroleum gas, and also specifies the general properties of material from which the pipes are manufactured.
Remarks 1 When the pipes are to be used, be careful of direct sunshine and fire. Additionally, be careful about fusion-bonding condition and fusion-bonding adaptability.
When the evaluation of the properties of pipes after squeeze-off is needed, the test method for squeeze-off specified in Annex D may be referred to according to the agreement between the parties concerned with delivery.
