Introduction

The Component Acceptance Program has been designed to assist submitting manufacturers through the Certification process. Components in this program may be considered to be any CSA tested device which may require further testing or examination when it is used in CSA Certified equipment. A component is intended for sale to. or use by. original equipment manufacturers. Components may be subjected to a wide variety of uses and conditions. As a result, the suitability of the use of the component shall be determined by the Canadian Standards Association.

The following is a listing of firms that have submitted their products for testing and inclusion into the Component Acceptance Directory. These firms have entered an agreement with CSA which ensures that the components have met selected use criteria in accordance with CSA standards.
