This specification covers new steel cylinders for the transportation and storage of compressed gases meeting the requirements of Interstate Commerce Commission Code of Federal Regulations, Specification 3A and 3AA. The specified service pressure ratings vary up to 3500 pounds per square inch gage (p.s.i.g.). it covers cylinders which vary in size from 170 cubic inches to approximately 14,850 cubic inches capacity.
