PURPOSE. This handbook provides guidance and prescribes technical standards and tolerances, and procedures applicable to the maintenance and inspection of the General National Airspace System Maintenance Control Center (GMCC). It also provides special methods and techniques that will enable maintenance personnel to achieve optimum performance from the equipment. This information augments information available in instruction books and other handbooks and complements the latest edition of Order 6000.15, General Maintenance Handbook for Airway Facilities.
