Purpose: This document contains a list of preferred parts, additional test requirements for preferred parts, part derating guidelines, screening requirements for nonpreferred parts, details of space radiation effects, and a list of nonpreferred parts that can be procured to GSFC specifications. This document, together with GSFC Parts Branch Document 311-INST-001 , Instructions for EEE Parts Selection, Screening, and Qualification (February 1995), should be used in the selection, procurement, and application of electrical, electronic and electromechanical (EEE) parts for GSFC space systems.
