AIM

The aim of this agreement is to establish a standardized procedure to calculate, report and exchange muzzle velocity (MV) information between multinational forces and NATO fire control systems.

The procedures cover manual and automated MV prediction techniques and take into consideration future gun systems, such as extended range ordnance, and the use of predicted fire.

This agreement is not applicable to

a. Direct fire weapon systems.

b. Surface to air weapon systems.
