scope:
This specification covers requirements for glycerol-water mixtures for use in hydraulic buffers and hydraulic recoil mechanisms. The methods described in this specification shall also be used for the preparation of such mixtures by the using activities.
Glycerol-water mixtures shall be of the following types, as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2):
Type A ... 80-20 (glycerol-water) Mixture without additives. Type B ... 60-40 (glycerol-water) Mixture with additives.
